She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Morton and Essie Lee Morton; her son Billy Wayne Briley; her siblings, Floyd Morton, Milton Leroy Nicholson, James Nicholson, Leon Nicholson, Derrill Nicholson, Dovie Moss, Dolly Harris and Bertha Smith; and her grandson Mickey Carver.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Briley (Bridget) of Seneca and Glenda Carver of Walhalla; and her grandchildren, Madison Briley, Conner Briley, Heather Carver and Johnathon Carver. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Briley Residence (1406 N Catherine St, Walhalla, SC 29691).
