She was predeceased by: her husband John Alvin Oliver; her parents, William "Bill" Christopher and Emma Elise Turner King; her siblings, George Walter King, Betty Jo Holcombe and Mary Sue King; and her nephew Pastor David Wesley King.

She is survived by: her son Mark Oliver (Karen Brown) of Walhalla; her nephew Michael King (Kathy) of Westminster; and her brothers, James King (Sarah) of Walhalla, Verner King of Tamassee, Johnny King (Alice) of Walhalla and Howard King (Shirley) of Walhalla. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
