He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Clyde and Christine Owens Garrison; his siblings, Joe Garrison, Ernistine Graham, Ellen Schroder, Irene Hinton and Carol Hubbard; and his great grandchild Madilyn Joyce.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Garrison of Walhalla; his children, Scott Garrison (Susan), Barry Owen (Fran), Fran Ashbrook (Scott) and Donna Owen; and his grandchildren, Brandi Hart (Chad), Josh Garrison (Sydney), Dr. Jamie Ashbrook, Zach Garrison (Ashley), Dr. Hannah Almeida (Veronica), Casey Joyce (Michael), Samantha Owen, Dallas Owen, Austin Tate (Amberly) and Logan Tate. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
