She was predeceased by: her husband Walter "Dick" Thompson of Walhalla; her parents, Wade Hampton and Liza Jane Maney Goss; her daughter Susan Vaughn; her grandson Charles Vaughn; and her siblings, Tommy, John, Andrew, Callie, Hazel, Leola, Heddie and JimmieLue.

She is survived by: her son Wayne Thompson.
