He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Derrill C. Hellams and Mary Lee Smith Hellams of Walhalla; his children, Jamie Hellams (Whitney) of Walhalla, Eric "Bo" Karow of Seneca and Amber Nelson of West Union; his brother Charles Hellams of Walhalla; and his grandchildren, Annie Hellams, Jacob Nelson, Andrew Nelson and Ensley Karow.
