Morris C. Blackwell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2024, at the age of 79, Morris C. Blackwell (Walhalla, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Fitzgerald Blackwell; his parents, Grady Blackwell and Rachel Jones Blackwell; his siblings, William, Bobby Blackwell and Priscilla (Lucille Carroll Seger); and his great grandchild Jackson Ray Blackwell.

He is survived by: his children, Morris "Ray" Blackwell (Tina) of Salem, SC, Joseph "Pete" Blackwell of Walhalla, SC and Angela "Angie" J. Dutton; his grandchildren, Marie Baker (Donnie), Ray Blackwell II (Toni), Amanda Blackwell (Marlow), Kayla Vaughn, Mark "Buddy" Boatman, Jr. (Kaci), Peter Boatman, Melody Wright and Jessica Puckett (Corey); and his granddaughter-in-law Crystal Norton. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
