With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle Pepper Orr of Walhalla, South Carolina, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harrison Orr of Walhalla, SC; her parents, Robert Frank and Bonnie Pritchett Pepper; and her brothers, Bill Pepper and Raymond "Pedro" Pepper.
She is survived by: her children, Harrison Edwards Orr III (Chip), Teresa Orr Philpott (Larry), Regina Merle Orr and Kay Orr Lewis (Keevin); her grandchildren, Tyler, Tiffany Orr, David, Michael Philpott, Jennifer Reeves and Anna Lewis; her great grandchildren, Zach, Will Philpott, Madeline, Andrew Philpott, Savannah Lister, Jesse Valler, Kodi Reeves and Mason Orr; and her great great grandchild Lister.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696).
