She was predeceased by: her parents, Sid Thornton and Betty Oliver Thornton; and her sister Diane Crane Smith. She is survived by: her son Todd Crane (Julie); her brothers, Mark Thornton (Cheryl) and Greg Thornton (Wanda); her grandchildren, Brady Crane and Baylee Crane Martin (Jared); her brother-in-law Ed Smith; and her friend Lisa Marcengill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and beloved family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Judy's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
