He was predeceased by: his father Billy Ray Wald. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Long Wald; his mother Lucy Oliver Wald; his children, Joshua R. Wald of Greenville and Stephanie Wald Barker (Andrew) of Easley; his grandchildren, Daniel Barker and Emily Barker; and his brothers, Bobby Joe Wald (Darlene) of West Union, Charles Wald (Lisa) of Martin, GA and Lee Wald of Salem.
