He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jack McCoy and Elsie Fern Kissinger McCoy; and his brother Jack McCoy, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, James E. McCoy, Jr. (Dorothy) and Lana M. Duncan (Jimmy); his sisters, Peggy M. Galloway (Frank) and Kay M. Good (Dick); his grandchildren, Caroline McCoy, Connor McCoy and Sheridan McCoy; and his sister-in-law Judy Kilby.
