He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Ansel and Carrie Galloway Cantrell; and his brothers, Carl Cantrell, John Cantrell, Delbert Cantrell, Jr. and Derrill Cantrell.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cantrell of Walhalla; his daughter Ellen Cantrell Collins (Steve); his sister Virginia "Sis" Alexander; his grandchildren, Stephanie Collins Buchanan (Derrick) and James Wesley Collins (Kayla); and his great grandchildren, Braden Lucas Collins and Adalynn Michelle Collins.
