He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Byrd Longfellow of Walhalla; his daughter Denise Waters (Mark) of West Union; his granddaughters, Savannah Waters and Tabitha Bates (Will); his great grandchild Colton Bates; his siblings, Alan Longfellow (Elouise) of Blockton, IA, Arlene Mecham of Austin, TX and Wilma Jackson (Doug) of Bedford, IA; his sister-in-law Betty Longfellow of Bedford, IA; and his friend Thelma Miller of Walhalla. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
