It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Hawkins Shealy (Walhalla, South Carolina), born in Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. George Benet Shealy; her parents, Bloomer "Jack" and Eunice Harman Hawkins; her son George B. Shealy, Jr.; her granddaughter Meghan Rebekka; and her brother-in-law Ernie Hope.
She is survived by: her children, Frank O'Neal Shealy (Melody), Leslie Carol Shealy and Julie Shealy Gambrell (Henry); her siblings, Bernard Hawkins (Faye) and Anna H. Hope; her grandchildren, Justin Smith (April), Zachary Smith (Erica), Leslie Bellamy (Nate) and Grant Shealy; her great grandchildren, Maribelle, MollyKate, Connor, Ashlyn, Addison and Harper; and her friend Bobbie Duncan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
