She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hamby of Washington and Elizabeth Wilbanks Hamby; and her grandson Russell A. Harbin, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Russell A. "Tony" Harbin of Soddy-Daisy, TN and Kimberly Harbin Watt Deese of Walhalla, SC; and her brothers, Douglas Ray Hamby of Mountain Rest, SC, Edward Hamby of Walhalla, SC and Clate Hamby of Mountain Rest, SC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672.
