It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Della Mae Matheson Reid of Walhalla, South Carolina, born in Long Creek, South Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Luther Dan "Luke" Reid of Walhalla; her parents, Charlie Matheson and Evia Lowery Matheson; her children, Charles Reid and Mary Ann Stephens; and her siblings, Ester Matheson, Beulah Parham, Ray, Hubert, Horace, Curtis, Grady, Marvin, Furman and Clyde Matheson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Dover (Clyde) of West Union and Carolyn Laird (Charles) of Walhalla; and her son-in-law Gene Stephens of Mountain Rest. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
