He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Lee Rogers and Mary Potts Rogers of Virginia; and his siblings, James Rogers and Mary Ann Nix. He is survived by: his sons, Tony Rogers of Westminster, Bobby Lee Rogers of Westminster and James Eric Rogers of Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Sarah Grace Rogers and David Wiley Rogers; his sisters, Margaret Nichols of Westminster, Louise Elliott of Walhalla and Lynn Brennan of Seneca; and his close friend Virginia "Sis" Alexander Cantrell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeview Assisted Living, 320 Camp Road, Walhalla, SC 29691.
