He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Leon and Edna Ball Dickson; his son David Dickson; and his sisters, Brenda Laws and Doris Galloway.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Rutledge Dickson of Walhalla; his children, Bradley Dickson (Kristal) and Angie Addis; and his grandchildren, Jackson Pappalardo, Olivia Drane, Kinsley Dickson and Kaden Dickson.
