He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Doyle Derrick and Annie Ruth White Derrick; and his granddaughter Claire Derrick. He is survived by: his children, Devin Doyle Derrick (Marie), Joanna Elizabeth Derrick and Toni Christen Leigh Derrick; his sisters, Regina Corbett (Bron), Christina Moore (Bobby), Rita Bates (Will) and Mary Lawing (Rick); and his grandchildren, Aiden Lamb, Blakely Rochester, Elizabeth Rochester, Brice Derrick and Ansel Derrick.
