She is survived by: her children, Vernetha Kitchings (Pastor Otis), Shirley James, Virlinda James (Bill), Brenda James, Sharon Harley, Patricia L. Davenport-Thompson (William), Jessie C. James, William M. James and Randy James; her siblings, Barbara Williams of Philadelphia, PA, Levon Quattlebaum of New Haven, CT and Luther Quattlebaum (Carolyn) of Columbia, SC; and her cousin Daisy Miller of Aiken, SC. She is also survived by three daughters-in-law, one son-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
