She was predeceased by: her husband George Richard Hardy; and her parents, Theodore Widener and Betty Rae Poole Widener. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Hardy and Cheryl Hardy Poole; her grandchildren, Hank Richard William Poole and Emma Jean Marie Poole; her sibling Dean Widener (Linda) of Rutherfordton, NC; and her brother-in-law Tom Hardy (Barbara). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
