She was predeceased by: her father James Swedenburg; her aunt Annie Bell Barr; and her nephew Keyshawn Johnson. She is survived by: her mother Devon Swedenburg of Wagener, SC; her daughter Sherrie Shanta Swedenburg of Wagener, SC; her siblings, Cynthia Prescott of Wagener, SC, Debra Swedenburg of Wagener, SC, Jacqueline Swedenburg of Wagener, SC and James Kennedy Swedenburg (Cathy) of Ft. Myers, FL; her close friend Willie Goodwin; and her sisters, Angel Davenport, Jacqueline G. Brown and Rawl Lee Tyler.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the J. H. Robinson Funeral Home of Wagener (190 Railroad Ave E, Wagener, SC 29164). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chalk Hill Baptist Church (3419 New Holland Rd, Wagener, SC 29164).
