She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Earl Brooks; and her parents, Wesley Edwin "Duck" Corbett Sr. and Edna Courtney Corbett. She is survived by: her child Travis Earl Brooks; her grandchildren, Brandon Morris and Christopher Morris; and her sibling Wesley Edwin Corbett Jr..
