He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Faulkenberry and William B. Engle. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Potts Engle; his children, Roger Engle II, Barnbas Bignall, Chris Engle, Brad Bignall and Brandin Bignall; and his sister-in-law Martha Engle. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
