He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Hoover Fields; his children, Ray Eugene "Gene" Fields, Jr. (Fran), Debbie Chavis (Jimmy) and Annette Bruner (William); his grandchildren, Cindy Marie Davis, Chasity Elizabeth Chavis Rushton (Eddie), Breanna Cheyenne Chavis, Benjamin Jacob Chavis, Whitney Jean Fields Williams (Wesley), Stephanie Marie Fields and Ray Padgett Fields (Josie); and his great grandchildren, Annabelle Marie Davis, Avery Matthew Davis, Logan Rushton, Dylan Lucas Rushton, Zoe Leanna Rushton, Wyatt Matthew Rushton, Dawson Williams and Landon Ray Fields.
