He is survived by: his wife Janette "Jan" Yon Shumpert; his sons, Scott A. Shumpert, Andrew B. Shumpert (Leah) and Daniel L. Shumpert; his grandchildren, Abigail L. Shumpert, Silas J. Shumpert, Elizabeth G. Shumpert and Abel O. Shumpert; his father Richard Joseph Shumpert; his sister Renee D. West (Tom); his brother-in-law Randall Yon (Wanda); and his mother-in-law Annette Poole Yon.
