He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruth Brazell Hughes and James Morris "Workhorse" Hughes; his children, Joshua Aaron Hughes, Stephen Mark Hughes, Jr., Chelsea Nicole Hughes and Mary Elizabeth Hughes; his grandchildren, Zachary, Hailery, Hayden, Kaiden, Raegin and MaLeigna; his siblings, Mitchell Hughes, Jennifer Renee DiMauro and Randy Hughes; and his nephew Talton Randolph "Randy" Hughes.
