She was predeceased by: her parents, Milledge and Moselle Moore Darns, Sr.; her husband Deacon Henry Willis James; her siblings, Elewese Smith, Ella Mae Smith, Lilie Mae Wilson and Frank Darns; her children-in-law, Marcella James and Elonzo Kitchings; and her granddaughter Vanessa Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, James Brown of Baton Rouge, LA, Elizabeth Peterson (Pernell) of Ridge Spring, SC, Robert Brown (Christine) of Versailles, KY, Henry L. James of McDonaugh, GA, Gloria J. James of Wagener, SC and Janice Kitchings of Wagener, SC; her brother Milledge Darns Jr. of Middletown, OH; and her grandchildren, Thelma, Pamela, Adrian, Teresa, Michael, Pernell Jr., Lisa, Kendra, Shahron, Nikki, Jerrell, Charissa, Laquita, John and Jamie. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
