He was predeceased by: his daughter Martha Deer; his former wife Cleo Dunn Heaton; and his parents, Willie Ernest Heaton and Tiny Hasty Heaton. He is survived by: his wife Annie Bobbie Cooper Heaton; his children, Billy Heaton (Lavinia), Darell Heaton (Rochelle), Johnny Fulmer (Jennifer), Elizabeth Sparks, Marie Deer (Howard) and Ruth Fulmer (Donald); and his grandchildren, Leanne Heaton, Wesley Heaton (Amy), David Heaton, Taylor Crowder (Joseph), Joshua Heaton, Brian Fulmer (Faythe), Jeremy Fulmer, Misty Fulmer, Brooke Price, John David Fulmer, Michael Freeman (Marie), Anthony Freeman (Cathy), Shawn Bell (Travis), Aaron Deer (Jamie), Nicole Cain (Phillip), Hunter Knight, Nicholas Alvanos, Brenda Cole Brown (Kevin), Melissa Cole Fleming, Renee Cole, Brandon Deer and Michelle Deer.
