She was predeceased by: her son Warren Stanley Shumpert; her parents, Leila Marie Rawls Hood and Robert Corbett; her sister Brenda Whittington (late James); and her siblings-in-law, Huley Shumpert, Frances Gunter and Paul "Vern" Shumpert.
She is survived by: her husband James "Shump" Shumpert; her sons, Robert "Robbie" Ernest Shumpert, James Brett Shumpert and Michael Brandon Shumpert (Jason Baker); her granddaughter Samantha Shumpert (Jesse Sprouse); her great grandchildren, Emma Sprouse, Ellie Sprouse and Winnie Sprouse; and her siblings-in-law, Walter Shumpert (late Joyce), Donald Shumpert (Sarah), Joyce Gantt (Billy), Patsy Hilyer (late Bobby), Faye Cannon (George), Lynn Brettschneider (John) and Elaine Spears (Stan). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Wagener United Methodist Church in honor of Mrs. Jeanette.
