She was predeceased by: her spouses, Donald Gene Cates and Carol H. Blanton; her daughter Hope Bumgardner; her grandchild Jessie Blanton; her great grandchild Trevor Blanton; her parents, Hope H. Turner and Dessie Brown Turner; and her siblings, Mary Branton, Otis Turner, Shirley Powell, Fleecie Humphries, Vernel Turner and Ned Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Blanton (Gloria) and Karen Blanton; her grandchildren, Nicholas Blanton (April), Allison Brunson (David), Breanna Norris (Clayton), Jill Marsh (Julian), Robin Bumgardner, Adrian Hall (Lorenzo), Aaron Blanton and Kaitlin Blanton; her great grandchildren, Will Blanton, Sydney Blanton, Caroline Grace Brunson, Jackson Brunson, Charlotte Brunson, Connor Norris, Chris Bumgardner, Brett Steadman, Dominic Grimes, Aaliyah Blanton, Autumn Blanton, Jordan Hall, Brooklyn Hall, Bentley Hall and Haven Hall; and her sister Rachel Turner.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Seivern Baptist Church Building Fund at 1337 Seivern Rd., Wagener, SC 29164.
