He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulus Carver and Corene Carver; his brother W. A. "Dub"; and his son Frankie. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Fulmer Carver; his sons, Billy (Linda) and Chuck; his sister Faye Shealy; and his grandchildren, Amy, Kristi, Cindy, McKenzie, Whitney, Abby, Timothy, Corey, Tyler, Preston, Chandler, Rylan, Kason and Adella.
