He is survived by: his children, David Michael Strother, Jr. (Susan) and Jamie Michael Strother; his grandchildren, David Michael Strother, III, Brandon Elliott Strother, Gabriel Suzanne Strother, Gabriel Alexander Strother, Tristan Strother and Cayden Strother; and his brothers, Tommy Strother (Cynthia), James Dean Strother (Steven) and Mike. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
