He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan L. Burkett and Ida Mae Lowe Burkett. He is survived by: his wife Syderis Dominick Burkett; his siblings, Jerry Burkett (Lori) of Aiken, Julius Burkett (Janeene Taylor) of Gilbert and Sandra Richardson (Lee) of Aiken; his siblings-in-law, Robert Dominick (Mary) of Saluda and Daphne Kyzer (Larry) of Saluda; and his mother-in-law Katherine Dominick of Saluda. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cleves Matthews Cemetery, 2070 New Holland Rd., Wagener, SC 29164 or to the charity of one's choice.
