She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law William Christian (Caroline); and her parents, Howard Ellis Meade, Sr. and Dorothy Pauline Tuggle Meade. She is survived by: her husband Walter M. Christian; her stepchildren, Walter Scott Christian (Pamela) and Vera Lynne Huston (Dean); her grandchildren, Jason Christian (Kassie), Joshua Christian (Emily), Anthony Huston and Abigail McKinney (Jason); her great grandchildren, Alex Christian, McKenzie Christian and Hannah Christian; and her siblings, Lois Horton (Don), Judy Wheeler (Gene), Joan Leonard, Lorine Leonard, Kaye Kilgore (Walter), Howard E. Meade, Jr., Ernest Meade (Allie), Lacy Meade (Patty), Douglas Meade (Toby), Dwaine Meade (Jennifer "Jennie") and Preston Meade (Melanie).
