With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barrie Baker of Wagener, South Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sylvia Hall Baker; his daughters, Melanie Baker Heyward (Duane) and Daphne Baker Knight (Billy); his grandchildren, Jessica Jackson (Carlos Turcios-Brizuela), Christopher Werts (Chyanne Kerley), Jennifer Moore (Jonathan Buyers) and Lindsey Heyward; his sister Sheryl Kitchings (Wallace); and his parents, John Thomas Baker and Marion Feagin Baker Duffie.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Heart Foundation or Sylvia Baker at 222 Lee St., Wagener, SC 29164.
