He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennylee Counts Foster and Richard P. Foster Sr.; his grandparents, Jennie, James Counts, Sarah and Joseph Foster; and his great-aunt Annie Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Lesa; his children, Ashlee Parra (Dan), Layna Foster (Ted), Jenna Foster (Adam) and Matthew Foster; his grandchildren, Nico, Lucas Parra, Clara, Lou Pickering and Maxwell Wessinger; his brother Sheriff Lee Foster (Carol); his children, Amelia and Joseph of Newberry; his mother-in-law Elaine Hart; his brothers-in-law, Brooks Hart and Roger Hart (Margarita); his niece Emily; his nephew Jonathan; his sister-in-law Weslie Hart; his close friends, Mark and Robbi Stokes of Clemson; and also, Erin and Sam.
