We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2020, at the age of 77, Lauretta Grant of Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina passed away. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin Grant; her grandchildren, Benjamin Keith Grant and Latoya Nicole Grant; her foster children, Rakeema Glen and Lena Arrington; her goddaughter Nadine LaTanya Butler; her siblings, George Johnson, Jr. (Margie), Cyrus Johnson (Patricia), Geraldine Bond (Charles), Thomas Johnson, Alfredia Jackson (Billy), Vernell "Doris" Richardson (Jerome), Lonnie Johnson (Francine), Jerome Johnson (Brenda) and Robert Johnson (Karen); her brothers-in-law, Douglas Brown (Martha) and Saul Grant (Patricia); and her niece Terrilynn Durham. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
