She was predeceased by: her spouse Thurmond Govan Phillips; her parents, Jessie Cook and Irene Reid Cook; and her siblings, Nell Mills, Juanita Youmans, Ruby Willis, Pamela Cook, Wyman Cook and Berry Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Sisler of West Virginia, Arthur Sisler (Katrina) of Cummings and Juli Metts (Ronnie) of Cummings; her grandchildren, Ashton Blocker (Rebekah) of Varnville and Caroline Chaplin (Will) of Green Pond; her stepchildren, Dawn Sheehan of Tennessee, Doyle Phillips of Tennessee and Dale Phillips of California; her stepgranddaughter Julia Ann Tillman of Tennessee; and her sister-in-law Cora Cook of Cottageville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
