With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Wayne McAlhaney of Varnville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife JoAnn Smith McAlhaney; his parents, Bradley C. McAlhaney and Louise Jarrell McAlhaney; his children, Jeffery Wayne McAlhaney (Bridget) of Cummings and Amanda JoAnn Garcia (Joel) of Sycamore; his grandchildren, Zailie, Finley, Aiden and Mark; and his siblings, Deloris Johnstone of Hampton, Ray McAlhaney (Kathy) of Varnville and Steve McAlhaney (Linda) of Varnville.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Residence of Mark McAlhaney and JoAnn McAlhaney (2244 State Rd S-25-51, Varnville, SC 29944). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Baptist Church (6404 Hope Well Rd, Hampton, SC 29924).
