With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcia Wood of Varnville, South Carolina, who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Marcia is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marcia's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, K. "Happy" Campbell and Ruth Douglas Campbell; her former husband Bobby Whittington; her husband Johnny Wood; and her siblings, Ethel Stanley Davis and Charles Campbell.
She is survived by: her sister Hazel Roberta Smith (J. L.); and her sister-in-law Catherine Whittington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
