She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Stewart and Katherine Ann Peeples Stewart; her former husband James "Bubba" Ulmer; her husband Frank W. Cannington; and her sons, Wesley and David Ulmer.

She is survived by: her daughter Frieda Ulmer Carillo; her sisters, Minnie Edwins and Mary Valentine; and her close friend Katrina Fultz.
