He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolen Tuten and Ruby Tuten of Varnville; and his brothers, Johnny, Ronald, Mack and Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bookhardt Tuten; his children, Kerri Tuten Warren (Miles) of Greenville, Sarah Tuten Gritzinger (Bruce) of Walterboro, Terri Tuten Ayer (Eddie) of Brunson and Luther Larry Tuten Jr. of Hampton; his sister Carolyn Tuten Polk (Denny) of Islandton; his sisters-in-law, Helen Tuten of Varnville and Barbara Tuten of Columbia; his grandchildren, Olivia Warren, Briar Mixon, Jordan Ayer (Justine) and Justin Ayer; and his great grandchild Avanelle Ayer.
The family suggests those who wish may send memorials to the Sandy Run Cemetery Association.
