He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carraway Schaffer; his daughters, April Lynch of Varnville, Crystal Ginn (Benji) of Varnville and Heather Schaffer of Varnville; his grandchildren, Josh (Amber), Kaleb, Emma, Ansley, Bailey and Kaedyn; his great grandchild Tillman; and his siblings, David Schaffer (Ruth Ann) of Varnville, DiAnne Cook (Roy) of Varnville, Bet Cook of Varnville and Midge Mesanko of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
