He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lee Upshaw and Sarah Johnnie Brown Upshaw; and his wife Nancy Ellen Whitmoyer Upshaw. He is survived by: his daughters, Debi Barnes (Larry) of Hampton and Robin Brown (Tony) of Fairfax; his siblings, Doyle Upshaw of Dewar, OK and Patricia Anderson of Okemah, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Dylan Barnes (Nicole) of Brunson and Nancy Taylor Young (Clay) of Fairfax; his great grandchildren, Raegan, Charley and Thomas; and his brothers, Lee, Bill and Jim Upshaw.
