She is survived by: her stepmother Pauline Hill Davis; her husband Harry Lee Asbery; her children, Angelina Asbery-Holmes (Keith Holmes) of New York City, Dr. David Asbery (Tanisha Asbery) of Hamden, CT and Dr. Joseph Asbery of Bayonne, NJ; her stepsiblings, Frank Tate of Orangeburg, SC and Rose Lee Glover of New Jersey; and her grandchildren, David M. Asbery (Tamiesha Asbery), Deron Holmes, Jamarl H. Asbery (Shanice Asbery), Corey Holmes, Nazaria K. Asbery and Andre M. Asbery. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
