He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Dickson (Burton) and David Dickson; his wife Mary Ellen Dickson (Lee); his granddaughter Kimberly Kingery (Metzger); his siblings, Rudolph Dickson, Lloyd Dickson, Sam Dickson, Ollie Mae Bolt and Betty Lou Moore; and his nephew Dan Bolt.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Dickson of Vance, Joel Dickson (Ramona) of Vance, Judy Lee (Roy) of Westminster and Joyce Dickson of Holly Hill. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and numerous members of his extended family.
