He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Isaac, Sr. Dickson and Ada Lee Witherspoon Dickson; his children, Esthers Dickson II of Lancaster, SC, Elizabeth Huey (Jimmy) of Lancaster, SC, Lawanda Mobley of Waxhaw, NC and Kertisa Williams of Charlotte, NC; his stepson Frank Johnson of Columbia, SC; his siblings, Isaac Dickson, Jr. (Mary) of Harleysville, SC, Ora L. McClanahan (Frank) and Inetta Dickson of Van Wyck, SC; his uncle Clarence Witherspoon of Van Wyck, SC; his aunts, Ruth Waldon of Silver Springs, MD and Mabel L. Witherspoon of Washington, DC; his close friend Carrie B. Bull; and his sister-in-law Reverend Margaret Dickson. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
