It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Spears Jr. of Union, South Carolina, who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Spears, Sr. and Mary Jane Jeter Spears. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ruth Henderson Spears; and his children, Marvin Meadows, Jeffrey Spears (Catina), Corell Kershaw, Katrena Foster (Lamar), Angela Spears and Latasha Smallwood (Marcus). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and a host of other family members.
