He was predeceased by: his parents, Berry Tucker and Rhoda Mae Sims Tucker; and his siblings, James Arthur Tucker, Ivory, Ulicious "Man" Tucker, Esther Smith, Shirley Jennings, Dorothy Hendrick, Mary Weston and Beatrice Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald LaMont Means of Boiling Springs, SC, Karlton Burkins of Charlotte, NC, Robbie Jeter of Dallas, TX, Sharon Williams (Paul) of Charlotte, NC, Kai Burkins of York, SC and Tiffany Conerly (Joshua) of Conyers, GA; his grandchildren, Khari Olgesby of Joshua Conerly, II and Jackson Conerly; his significant other Vernice Cheek of Gibsonville, NC; his siblings, Howard "Pete" Tucker (Phyllis) of Carlisle, SC, Willie Lewis Tucker (Sarah) of Union, SC, Joseph "Pig" Tucker (Debra) of Clinton, MD and Barbara Ann "Pookie" Bowser (Stanley); his siblings-in-law, Thomas B. Jones, Mary Tucker and Ruth Ann Tucker; his brother James Earl "Pepsi" Sims; and his nephews, James Tucker and Reggie Tucker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
