He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis "Bully" Jeter and Mary Louise Sims Biae; his son Rondey Scott Peake; his siblings, Joe Kelley, James Sims, Angelo Sims and Carolyn Simmons; his son-in-law Keele Goodwin; his parents-in-law, Andrew and Addie Thomas; and his brother-in-law James "Buster" Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Brennie Jeter; his children, Sevoy Jeter (Sharmonique), Demetrice Clark and Latasha Goodwin; his grandchildren, Sevoy, III, James, Isaiah, Tyler, Taylor and Gabby; his godmother Odessa Griffin; his siblings, Dennis Jeter, Bobby Grifin, Shirley Booker (Isaac), Dorothy Mae Henderson, Kimberly Booker, Sheryl Nelson (Charles), Jeannie Brisbon (Alonzo), Hattie Ortiz and Lucille Cardenas; and his sisters-in-law, Geraldine Jeter, Blanche Carter and Gloria Davis. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
